Slump in oil prices and the Boko Haram insurgency causes Nigeria's stock market to crash to lowest level


For the seventh straight day, Nigeria’s stock market nosedived, bringing the all-share index to the lowest level in more than 2 years.
Nigeria’s stock market has hit its lowest level in over two years as the bears continue to run riot.


Led by financial and material stocks, the all-share benchmark fell to 1.4 per cent to 27,552.5 on Friday, February 13.
The stock market crash was caused by several factors, which are; the persistent slump in oil prices and the Boko Haram insurgency.
