Calvin Klein Denies Lupita Nyong'o's Dress Price

It's turning into the greatest Oscar story in years. Lupita Nyong'o's stolen Oscar dress, which was reportedly worth between $150,000 and $10 Million, appears to be all smoke and mirrors.

The thief called TMZ Friday afternoon and said he took 2 of the pearls down to the Garment District in L.A. and learned they were fake. That's when he returned the dress to the hotel.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Calvin Klein's people never told them if the pearls were real or fake. We're told the only person who represented the pearls as real and valued the dress at $150K was Lupita's stylist.

A source directly connected with the Women's Creative Director of Calvin Klein, Francisco Costa, put it this way, "Did anyone ever say they were real from Calvin Klein? I always assumed everyone knew they were fake, but I guess not."

The source awesomely adds, "Do they really make dresses out of real jewels since Cleopatra died?"

Lupita Nyong'o's Oscar Dress Returned by Thief because of Fake Pearls

Is this an embarrassment for Lupita or for Calvin Klein? The $150,000 Oscar gown worn by actress Lupita Nyong'o that was stolen two days ago (Read it here), was returned on Friday by the thief, who tipped off celebrity news site TMZ.com after learning the pearls on the dress were fake.

TMZ said the thief took the Calvin Klein dress from Nyong'o's hotel room on Wednesday after finding the door ajar.

The Kenyan actress had worn the dress adorned with 6,000 pearls to Sunday's Academy Awards in one of the most commented looks of the night.

To celebrate his new endorsement deal with Konga, Don Jazzy splashed about N500k worth of gifts on his Twitter followers.

Don Jazzy held a bonanza whereby he picked 8 people at random from his over a million followers and paid for the merchandise they ordered from Konga.

In a move to empower users, the site is no longer making people pick from a predefined gender menu. Although the former drop-down category included 58 options, including "transfeminine" and "two-spirit," Facebook is now offering a free-form field into which users can type anything they want.

The change was explained Thursday on a Facebook Diversity post: "Now, if you do not identify with the pre-populated list of gender identities, you are able to add your own ... We recognize that some people face challenges sharing their true gender identity with others, and this setting gives people the ability to express themselves in an authentic way."

Users can also decide which pronoun they'd like used: him, her or them.

The new option, which is only available to Facebook users in U.S. English, is being applauded as a way of making the site more user friendly for the LGBTQ community.

Yet advocates are still waiting for Facebook to change its real-name policy, which requires a person to use the legal name on his or her birth certificate, passport or driver's license, rather than a name they have reassigned to themselves.

Kelly Osbourne Quits Fashion Police Amidst Racist Statement Scandal

In the midst of enormous criticism from the public claiming that Fashion Police erred in allowing a joke about Zendaya's hair to make it on air after the Oscars, Kelly Osbourne has decided to leave the show.

"Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s Fashion Police to pursue other opportunities," E! announced Friday. "We would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers."

E! went on to say the show will return as scheduled on Friday, March 30, at 9 p.m. and that no decisions have been made on her replacement.

Well that was fast. Google only declared that it would begin cracking down on adult content posted to Blogger a few days ago Read here, but it's already decided it was a bit hasty in its decision. After coming under fire over the introduction of a retroactive change that would ban sexually explicit images and video and also required owners to delete older content, the search giant has told users that it will crack down harder on the publishing of commercial porn instead.

Google has decided to reverse the proposed ban. Instead it will “step up enforcement around the existing policy prohibiting commercial porn.”

"This week, we announced a change to Blogger's porn policy. We've had a ton of feedback, in particular about the introduction of a retroactive change (some people have had accounts for 10+ years), but also about the negative impact on individuals who post sexually explicit content to express their identities," says Jessica Pelegio, Social Product Support Manager at Google. "Blog owners should continue to mark any blogs containing sexually explicit content as "adult" so that they can be placed behind an 'adult content' warning page."

So there you have it. Maybe Google realised it would see a mass exodus of users jumping over to Tumblr or it just couldn't ignore the negative responses coming its way. Either way, adult content still has a home on Blogger, as long as it's your own or you have permission to post it.

Observers of Boko Haram, which has inflicted years of terror on northern Nigeria, note that its actions in the last six months have frequently mimicked those of ISIS -- from punishments such as stoning and beheading of its victims to taking territory and an increasingly sophisticated use of social media that's very much in the ISIS "style."

The latest sign that Boko Haram is wooing ISIS came on Sunday with a series of tweets released by jihadist site Afriqiyah Media, which declared its own allegiance to ISIS in December. One tweet quoted Boko Haram's own media arm as saying: "We give you glad tidings that the group's Shurah Council is at the stage of consulting and studying, and we will let you know soon the group's decision in respect to pledging allegiance to the Caliph of the Muslims Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, may Allah preserve him," according to a translation by SITE Intelligence.

Kanye Tweets Apologies to Beck and Bruno Mars

It’s the dawn of a new day for Kanye West. And he even offered Mars a chance to sing on a new track.

First, he went to dinner with Taylor Swift. Now, he’s publicly trying to make good with two artists he’s hated on in the past: Yeezus tweeted apologies on Thursday to Beck and Bruno Mars.

The Beck apology came after he kind of stole the artist’s thunder at the 2015 Grammy Awards, nearly “pulling a Kanye”—or his “I’mma let you finish” moment with Swift at the VMAs in 2009—when Beck won Album of the Year over Béyonce. He later said in an interview that the Morning Phase singer should give his award to the superstar.

The Bruno Mars apology, however, could come as a surprise to some. West admitted that he “really used to hate on” the “Uptown Funk” singer. (He has ranted about Mars during a couple of his concerts, too.)

Now, it looks like he thinks he’s pretty cool. In fact, he invited Mars to sing on a new track.

Nurse Admits Killing 30 Patients to Show off Resuscitation Skills

Oh snap!! Even though he reportedly expressed regret for killing these patient that's still bizarre.

A nurse in Germany who admits killing up to 30 patients by injecting them with heart medication so he could show off his resuscitation skills has been jailed for life.

Nils H, was found guilty at Oldenburg Regional Court of two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder relating to his time working at a clinic in the German town of Delmenhorst.

The 38-year-old, whose full name is being withheld under German privacy laws, was then told he would have to spend the rest of his life in jail.

It also emerged that he had previously been sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in prison in 2008 for attempted murder.

Duke in shining armor! Prince William is becoming even more of a storybook prince after he recently became qualified to save the day as an air ambulance pilot.

Kensington Palace announced on Thursday, Feb. 26, that the Duke of Cambridge, 32, passed his Air Transport Pilot's License exams. In addition to a flight test, the set of 14 written tests charted the royal's knowledge on everything from principles of flight to air law to navigation and meteorology.

Now that he has successfully completed the examinations, Prince William will start a new job as an air ambulance pilot for East Anglian Air Ambulance as an employee of Bond Air Services. While he has passed the extensive license exams, before he is regularly flying, the Duke must go through a training period and additional written tests.

Statistics reveals Nigerian international and Watford striker Odion Ighalo has emerged as the tops marksman in England, this year’s statistics have revealed.

The 25-year old Watford forward has scored more goals in 2015 than any player in all divisions in England, outscoring EPL quartet of Diego Costa, Sergio Agureo, Harry Kane and Danny Ings.

Kanye West Jumps on Table at London Fast Food Spot

British fast food diners got a taste of Yeezus on Wednesday.

While in London for the Brit Awards on Wednesday, the rapper, 37, surprised customers at the chain restaurant Nando’s, an eatery known for its peri-peri chicken, by jumping on a table and posing for pictures.

Fans swarmed West around the table and began chanting “Yeezus! Yeezus!” while taking selfies and videos of the star in a black hoodie.

Shortly after arriving, he jumped on a tabletop and fans began shouting “Yeezus! Yeezus!” and snapping photos of the unpredictable 37-year-old star.

Nando’s Twitter also enjoyed the stir, sending out a photo of West above the crowd.

“So, it turns out Kanye is much taller in real life… #NandosO2,” it read.

As for West’s eating habits, he was surely a hungry man before he performed his new song, “All Day.”

He ordered a plain burger, fries, a medium double-burger, garlic bread, a chicken quarter and spicy rice.

Lupita Nyong’o’s $150K Oscar Dress Stolen

Lupita Nyong’o’s $150,000 Oscar dress was stolen from her Hollywood hotel room early Tuesday, according to TMZ.

Cops believe the Calvin Klein gown, adorned with 6,000 white Akoya pearls, was boosted from Nyong’o’s room at The London West Hollywood between 8 and 9 a.m. while the “12 Years a Slave” actress was out, TMZ reported.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage that may have captured the thief in the act.

Nyong’o presented the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor to J.K. Simmons at Sunday’s ceremony.

Four More Years! Keeping Up With The Kardashians signs $100m deal with E!

The Kardashians have signed a record-breaking, $100 million-plus deal to remain with E! for another four years. Momager Kris Jenner recently secured the astonishing deal for herself and daughters Kim, Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Bruce Jenner is not part of the deal, having previously agreed that he will be leaving after the upcoming 10th season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” Bruce has his own show at E! based on his sex transition.

The Kardashian deal, the highest in TV history for a reality brand, is being kept strictly under wraps and covers at least four more seasons of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, spin-off shows and possible digital projects. E!’s parent company, Comcast, says it plans to save by spending less on content if its proposed merger with Time Warner Cable goes ahead.

So who's been watching Empire? Everybody loves "Cookie" she makes the show but as Empire’s first season comes to a close, the show is bringing out the big guns in terms of star power and here's the first look. Last Spring, when the beloved Maya Angelou passed, Twitter campaigned for the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to honor the iconic poet with a stamp to immortalize her heart-touching legacy for years to come. Fast forward to the present and Ms. Angelou’s got herself that stamp! “Stamps have featured people for their notable accomplishments in the arts. They have included American heroes, but one is missing. Maya Angelou was influential in so many ways,” the petition wrote.

The U.S. Postal Service announced that it will honor the legendary Maya Angelou with a “Forever” stamp. Dr. Angelou passed away last year at the age of 86 and is best known for her memoir I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings.
“Maya Angelou inspired our nation through a life of advocacy and through her many contributions to the written and spoken word,” said Postmaster General Megan J. Brennan. “Her wide-ranging achievements as a playwright, poet, memoirist, educator, and advocate for justice and equality enhanced our culture.”

The Postal Service will preview the stamp and provide details on the date and location of the first-day-of-issuance ceremony at a later date.

Madonna Fell Off The Stage At The Brit Awards, But She's Okay

Madonna took a bad fall during her performance of "Living For Love" at the Brit Awards on Wednesday. Watch the video.

The 56-year-old singer was standing on a staircase leading to the stage, but because of an apparent costume malfunction with her cape, she was forcefully pulled to the ground. Like a true professional, Madonna continued on and finished the song to close the show.

Following the fall, Madonna took to Instagram to reassure fans that she was all right:

"Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight! But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I'm fine! #livingforlove," she wrote alongside an illustration of her costume.

Doctors attempting to bring Bobbi Kristina Brown out of her coma by taking her off certain medications have been forced to re-induce the coma because Brown began to have seizures. Medical personnel at the Georgia hospital where Brown is fighting for her life had decided to gradually end her coma in order to have a better idea of the 21-year-old’s status and prognosis. Not long afterwards, though, Brown began to seize, and doctors opted to put her back on the sedatives.

Chris Brown is tired of being asked about his relationship with Rihanna and his feud with Drake. On Monday, the singer threatened to stop doing interviews unless the chats exclusively focus on his art and music.

“I’ve given the world enough opinions. I’m not doing no more interviews unless it’s about my art or music. It’s nothing else anyone needs,” tweeted Brown. He continued more bluntly, “Don’t ask me about Drake or Rihanna. Anything u need to hear is in all our music.” Brown deleted the tweet referencing Rihanna and Drake shortly after, but his first post currently remains on his timeline.

Attention all bloggers with adult content or who plan on posting adult content, Google is banning adult content from websites hosted on Blogger from next month, after the company updated regulations governing the use of media on its blogging service.

A company support page for Blogger explains that “starting March 23, 2015, you won’t be able to publicly share images and video that are sexually explicit or show graphic nudity on Blogger.” Global News reports that emails were sent to Blogger users informing them of the policy change.

Google isn’t actually deleting any salacious websites, however. Blogs that fall foul of the new policy will be made private after March 23, Google said, unless they remove the content in question. That means they will be invisible to anyone but the blog owner and any associated admins. That said, new blogs created from March 23 that include sexually explicit material may be straight up deleted, the company explained.

The new edifice which is being guarded by a security company, is her private property which she will occupy anytime she is in Ghana. It is located around the Achimota area of Ghana. She prefers the area to East Legon for reasons best known to her.

Did you guys know Porsha Williams used to sing? #RHOA

I bumped into this video of Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Porsha Williams in a song telling about her divorce and the abuse she was tangled in while married to Kordell Stewart of 2 years. I know this is old but i thought to share anyway.

I thought she had given up on her music career, but she's still trying on it with this single she released early last year, being on the top 10 on iTunes chart. This song clearly spills out a lot of her emotions and how much she loved her ex-husband.

Dakota Johnson Reportedly Broke Up With Her Boyfriend Because of 'Fifty Shades'

Don't worry Jamie Dornan, her Northern Irish co-actor in the movie, isn't to blame.

Dakota Johnson has had quite the busy life lately with Fifty Shades of Grey, attending endless premieres and talk shows to promote the film. And given the film's massive success and already confirmed sequels, it's no surprise the sheer force of it has killed Johnson's love life for the time being. Us Weekly reports Johnson and her boyfriend, Matthew Hitt, a Welsh model/musician, broke up during the holidays because of the film. "Her life was getting too crazy and it wasn't something that he wanted to be a part of," a source told the outlet. His loss.

But "it wasn't a bad break," the source noted. Oh well, looks like Johnson has the perfect real-life inspiration for her other new role in How to Be Single.

Watson was apparently referring to rumors about her and Harry, which were first reported by Australian magazine Woman’s Day last week. The magazine provided a number of details about how Prince Harry approached the 24-year-old Harry Potter actress.

Fans hoping that there was truth to rumors about Prince Harry, 30, secretly dating Emma Watson, 24, are in for a big disappointment. However, the actress shot down the rumors on Sunday.

"WORLD," she Tweeted. "Remember that little talk we had about not believing everything written in the media?!"

"also....marrying a Prince not a prerequisite for being a princess". Her tweet came with a link to a YouTube video titled "All girls are Princesses".

Palace officials, meanwhile, have not directly addressed the reports, although a source mentioned that the dating rumor was "nonsense."

Watson split from her Oxford University rugby player beau, Matthew Janney, in November 2014. Meanwhile, Harry ended things with Cressida Bonas back in April 2014.

While the Internet heartily approved of the thought of the Harry Potter star and women's rights activist dating a royal, it looks like the report was just too good to be true.

Kanye West and Taylor Swift Spotted Having Dinner Together

Kanye West dined out with Taylor Swift Tuesday, even though the two were careful not to arrive and leave together, they were spotted having dinner together in a table for two at The Spotted Pig in New York City. and admitted during a radio interview Friday that the eatery played Beck's album during his meal with the "Shake It Off" singer.

"The other day I went to dinner, I sat down with Taylor Swift and ironically they were playing the Beck album," he told Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club.

"I hadn't heard it and I was like man, this is kinda good."

West confirmed he hadn't listened to Beck's "Morning Phase" before he stormed the stage while the 44-year-old singer was accepting the Grammy award for Album of Year.

West's stunt mimicked his famous interruption of Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Music Awards, but the two have clearly buried the hatchet.

Swift, 25, apparently opened up the 37-year-old rapper, who she is set to collaborate with in the near future, during their night out about how she doesn't receive as many awards as she once did.

"When she was the victim, she won every award," West said Swift told him.

Engaged Lady Gaga performed an impeccable medley from The Sound of Music at the 87th Academy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 22, at the Dolby Theatre in L.A.

The songstress took to the stage singing a medley of songs including "The Hills Are Alive," "Edelweiss," and "Climb Ev'ry Mountain," "My Favorite Things" was also a part of Gaga's presentation her first official performance and appearance since her engagement to actor Taylor Kinney on Valentine's Day.

The island nation of Madagascar and the landlocked Himalayan nation of Bhutan might seem like charming tourist attractions. Travelers might want to think twice before visiting them, though. A recent Health Risk index by International SOS urges caution for visitors to those two countries, among other places.

The world map reprinted here is a reflection of more than 300,000 medical incidents which were reported in 2014 by companies to International SOS, which specializes in health care and emergency services to clients with business travelers overseas. Based on that data, a panel took into account threats of infectious disease, hygiene and sanitation, frequency of accidents and the availability and quality of the local health infrastructure to determine how risky a trip to a particular country might be.

Despite their pristine natural beauty, Bhutan and Madagascar pose an array of risks: from the difficulty of finding adequate hospitals in remote areas to poor sanitation in others.

Some classifications made in this index ought to be questioned, though. Cuba, for instance -- a country whose doctors are internationally renowned -- was classified as a "high risk" country in the Americas.
