Queen Elizabeth says NO to Kate Middleton naming her grand daughter Diana after late Princess Diana

This is not even happening. The British Monarchy is too formal and close knit to resurrect the story that Prince Charles divorced Princess Diana amid terrible scandal and his long cheating affair with Camilla Parker-Bowles. It's no secret Kate Middleton is having a baby girl but she will be naming her new daughter ‘Diana’ after Prince William’s late mom and the queen is livid. She probably had a fit when Kate and Prince William decided they would name their baby girl Diana. Even though Princess Diana was royalty, the controversy surrounding her reign and death wasn't something the royals were proud to be associated with.
The chances of Queen Elizabeth allowing a royal heir to be named after Princess Diana are slim to none. Some other likely names of the future Princess that have been floating around are Elizabeth (after the Queen herself), Margaret (after the Queen’s late sister), and Charlotte (the middle name of Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton).
