Beyonce Becomes The First Black Musician On The Cover Of Vogue's September Issue

If you are a fashion conscious person you'd know the September issue of Vogue magazine is a huge deal. Vogue’s September issue is major in the magazine world. The issue is traditionally the biggest and most important of the year and features the the best of fall fashion, plus loads of advertisements.
Beyonce can now add another thing to her list of achievements and accolades as the singer is making history as the first black female artist to grace the cover of the coveted Vogue September issue.

The singer strikes a fierce pose in the cover photo sporting wet hair and a gorgeous purple Marc Jacobs ensemble with the accompanied text reading, “Just B: Beyoncé and the Art of Global Domination.”

The cover is Beyonce’s third for the high fashion publication. She previously appeared on both the March 2013 and April 2009 covers. She is the third black female to appear on the front of the Vogue September issue, following in the footsteps of supermodel Naomi Campbell and actress Halle Berry.

The largest September issue on record is the 2012 edition, coming in at 916 pages. The influential issue was also the subject of a 2009 documentary showing the behind-the-scenes drama following Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and her staff during the production of the September 2007 edition.
