Rihanna Accused Of Stealing “B*tch Better Have My Money” From Just Brittany's Song

After you listen to both songs you'll understand why I think Rihanna has borrowed a little too closely from Just Brittany's version of the song.
Rihanna is being accused of stealing “B*tch Better Have My Money.” A number of observers and outlets are pointing to similarities between the superstar’s new track and “Betta Have My Money,” released last year by Houston-based R&B performer Just Brittany.
Listen to both songs after the cut.

In recent days, Rihanna’s new song has been everywhere. She performed it live at last weekend’s iHeartRadio Music Awards, and sang it in Jimmy Kimmel’s bedroom in the middle of the night as an April Fools’ Day prank. But many people think the track bears a startling resemblance to Just Brittany’s “Betta Have My Money,” and not just because of the similar titles.
The hooks sound a lot alike, and given the increased scrutiny on matters like these in light of the recent “Blurred Lines” legal battle, the debate could just be beginning over whether Rihanna lifted, intentionally or inadvertently, too much of Just Brittany’s material.
Neither singer has responded to the controversy. Listen to both Rihanna’s “B*tch Better Have My Money” and Just Brittany’s “Betta Have My Money” below, and tell us what you think. Did the earlier release? Or is this all overblown?
