Adele Didn’t Have ‘Any Points To Prove’ With New Single

I've had this song on repeat since its release on Thursday. Killing it every single time she opens her mouth to sing, British singer Adele has shed light on her comeback single, “Hello,” which she debuted on Thursday night. 
“It happened quickly when I was writing it, so that was a good sign,” she told ­SiriusXM’s Jenny Eliscu. “But also it’s incredibly conversational. I didn’t want to come back with some spectacular point. I didn’t have any points to prove.”
The song’s video features former “The Wire” star Tristan “Mack” Wilds. Adele’s releasing her first album since 2011, dubbed “25,” on Nov. 20.
