Manny Pacquiao’s Shoulder Injury Surgery Successful

Manny Pacquiao has undergone a successful surgery to correct a shoulder injury sustained before the May 2 mega-fight with Floyd Mayweather.
The Filipino revealed the injury in the aftermath of his defeat by Floyd Mayweather last Saturday and is expected to be out of action for up to a year.

Pacquiao took to his Instagram to reveal that his surgery was successful, also thanking his doctor his surgeon Dr Neal ElAttrache.
“Thank you Lord for the successful surgery in my right shoulder. Thank you babe for being there beside me. Thank you to my Dr. Neal Ellatrache and his group for taking care of me. God is great!” the boxer wrote on Instagram alongside a photo (above).

Two boxing fans have however sued Manny Pacquiao for not disclosing the injury on a form the day before the fight.
The lawsuit has been filed in federal court in Las Vegas, Chicago and Los Angeles Superior Court asking for fraud damages on behalf of people who spent money to watch the fight or bet on it.
