Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux married in a top-secret wedding at their home on Wednesday night, according to TMZ.
Photos showed a huge party being staged at the couple’s Bel Air mansion, which included table settings and a dance floor, and what appeared to be a wedding cake topped with two muppet figures, one wearing a veil, and a pastor entering their home.
A source told Page Six, “Jennifer and Justin have been planning an August wedding, but it was very, very top-secret. They talked about doing it abroad, but decided on their home for maximum privacy while allowing their friends to be there.”
Sources said Jen, 46, told friends that she was throwing a surprise 44th birthday party for Justin, whose birthday is August 10, and TMZ reported friends including Chelsea Handler, Howard Stern, Lisa Kudrow and John Krasinski were seen arriving at Aniston and Theroux’s $21 million mansion.
Aniston and Theroux began dating when they starred together in 2010’s “Wanderlust,” and got engaged in August 2012 over dinner at Manhattan’s Blue Hill Restaurant.
In July 2013, Aniston explained why she and Theroux kept delaying their nuptials. “We just want to do it when it’s perfect, and we’re not rushed, and no one is rushing from a job or rushing to a job,” she told the AP. “And, you know, we already feel married.”
