Rick Ross was locked up for toking and driving.
The rapper was arrested in Fayette County outside of Atlanta on Wednesday for a misdemeanor marijuana charge, reports local TV station Channel 2 Action News. An officer reported the smell of marijuana coming from Ross' Bentley after stopping him for a window tint violation.
The 39-year-old "Super High" rapper, whose real name is William Leonard Roberts II, is currently being booked at the Fayette County Jail.
Ross, who is a Mississippi native but was raised in Miami, purchased a 109-room mansion previously owned by boxing legend Evander Holyfield in the county in January 2014.
It's not the first time Ross has been locked up for pot-related charges. He was arrested last June after a performance at Greensboro's SuperJam Music Festival for skipping a court appearance for a previous misdemeanor marijuana charge. He was released after posting $1,000 bail.
While his weed arrests may not come as a shocker to some, Ross did surprise fans when he was recently visited by Bill Murray in a recording studio near Philadelphia in March.
