Fantasia Barrino has found her way to happiness.
The 2004 “American Idol” winner tied the knot with beau Kendall Taylor over the weekend and acknowledged that it’s been a tough road finding her way to love.
“Be Happy with me you guys cause I’ve been thru SOOOOO much. Some stuff was my wrong decisions but all I ever really wanted was this.. Real Love. This Man and this smile is real,” she shared on Instagram, captioning a wedding-day photo of the couple.
The 31-year-old opened up about her struggles as a teenage mother in her 2005 memoir, “Life Is Not a Fairy Tale,” and subsequent Lifetime movie. She also went through a very nasty and public split with ex Antwaun Cook in recent years.
Barrino has two children, 13-year-old Zion and 3-year-old Dallas, from pervious relationships. She and Taylor announced their engagement in November 2014.
On her big day, Barrino wore a long-sleeved lace gown accessorized with a sparkling headband and a bouquet of red roses. The new groom also wore white.
The Broadway alum also shared photos of her gorgeous cake — a black, white and silver creation with red roses — and the reception, decked out in the same color palette.
