Terrence Howard and his ex-wife Michelle Ghent can’t seem to stop fighting.
Ghent has filed a lawsuit against the 46-year-old “Empire” actor accusing him of domestic violence.
Her suit comes one day before the statute of limitations expires, reports TMZ. She claims Howard threw her against a bathroom wall, strangled and kicked her during a 2013 trip to Costa Rica.
The site adds that Howard protested two years ago that the incident was mutual, adding that Ghent threatened to kill him and his family.
The couple divorced in early 2013 after Ghent claimed Howard assaulted her in a Toronto hotel room. She also claimed he threatened suicide on multiple occasions.
Howard quickly remarried in late 2013, tying the knot with his third wife, Miranda. The couple welcomed their first child together — his fourth — in May.
A request for comment from Howard’s rep wasn’t returned.
