President Muhammadu Buhari who left Abuja,Nigeria this morning with his delegation for the US has arrived the Joint Base Andrews International Airport, Washington DC, ahead of tomorrow’s meeting with US President, Barack Obama.
Buhari’s arrival to the US was announced by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, who tweeted:
“Pres. @MBuhari has just arrived the Joint Base Andrews Int’l Airport, Washington DC for tomorrow’s meeting with Pres. Obama #PMBmeetsOBAMA”.
He will be staying at the Blair House in Washington D.C during his US visit, according to the presidency. He will be the first Nigerian president ever to stay in the house which is the US President's official guest house and is regarded in America as an honor of highest significance.
