On Monday, photos of Miley Cyrus' boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger in a clinch with a girl wearing a bikini in Cabo, circulated social media and of course Miley would see it. You might expect her to be having rather a bad day but in a bizarre response to the scandal the 22-year-old reflected on the joys of friendship and shared a snap with her male assistant and close friend Cheyne Thomas.

She told her followers: 'we izzzz so lucky to be on dis planet.'
In her rambling hard-to-read message she wrote: 'Da most biewteous thang in da whole wide world iz friendship. yiew choose dem outta all da billion trillion and beyond dey are da onez dat days seem toooo short with.....
'Yiew wish dey could just go on foreva (that's why sometimes yiew skip da sleepin part) i am layin in da gra$ lookin up at all da clouds and tryin to even get a lil solaaaa gaze action jusss bein still ... & bein thankful. biewty is all around us and we izzzz so lucky to be on dis planet. (I mean seriously wtf are the chances we all meet da onez we love).'

However giving a clue to her state of mind, Miley then finished by admitted she may be just stoned'.
'Feeling supaaaa blisssssed or maybe I'm juzzzz stoned,' she explained.
Making a point of showing just how unconcerned she was, Miley later tweeted a picture of her and her mother enjoying a margarita.
Still making no overt reference to the scandal, she sucked on a straw and cuddled up to Tish, writing: 'Monday margaritaZzzz with my mama.
Patrick was less reticent, and directly addressed the scandal. Denying he had done anything wrong, he wrote: 'Omg. It's one of my best friends girlfriend...Would NEVER do anything against my GF.' And the 21-year-old also tweeted: 'Girls have guy friends and guys have friends that are girls...'
Miley and Patrick, who have been dating for over five months, have made no secret of the intensity of their relationship. The two are even said to have talked about marriage.
