Dr. Mohammed Ibn Chambas, the United Nations (UN) Secretary-General High Level Representative to Nigeria, at a press conference in Abuja on Friday said the UN has given $60m to Nigeria to assist the country in the 2015 general elections for ensured success
He said the UN was interested in Nigeria’s elections because the country is too important for the sub-region, the region and the world at large.
