For a second, it seemed like Kanye West was going to escape New York Fashion Week without causing his usual chaos. I mean he sure inspired a mob scene at every show he went to, presented one of the most talked about collections of the week, and gave an interview with Style.com in which he referred to himself as Robin Hood, Lol!. But, that's basically a Tuesday. There were no rants. There were even ear-to-ear smiles, very not classic Kanye.
And
then in the wee hours of this morning, Kanye did what Kanye does best:
Treat everyone to a rant of epic proportions. The singer-slash-designer
dished out a bunch of tweets defending himself (apparently as a
response to some not-so-positive reviews)
and explaining his lack of design background, from London, where he
arrived last night for London Fashion Week. The tweets were quickly
taken down, but since the Internet never sleeps tweets like "I have millions of
ideas and I represent a new generation just trying to express themselves
in a broken world" were captured, hehe.
