Lupita Nyong’o’s $150,000 Oscar dress was stolen from her Hollywood hotel room early Tuesday, according to TMZ.
Cops believe the Calvin Klein gown, adorned with 6,000 white Akoya pearls,
was boosted from Nyong’o’s room at The London West Hollywood between 8
and 9 a.m. while the “12 Years a Slave” actress was out, TMZ reported.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage that may have captured the thief in the act.
Nyong’o presented the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor to J.K. Simmons at Sunday’s ceremony.
