Oh nooo! I'm one of those that actually wished this was true.
Watson was apparently referring to rumors about her and Harry, which were first reported by Australian magazine Woman’s Day last week. The magazine provided a number of details about how Prince Harry approached the 24-year-old Harry Potter actress.
Fans hoping that there was truth to rumors about Prince Harry, 30, secretly dating Emma Watson, 24, are in for a big disappointment. However, the actress shot down the
rumors on Sunday.
"WORLD," she Tweeted. "Remember that little talk we had about not believing everything written in the media?!"
"also....marrying a Prince not a prerequisite for being a princess". Her tweet came with a link to a YouTube video titled "All girls are Princesses".
Palace officials, meanwhile, have not directly addressed the
reports, although a source mentioned that the dating rumor was
"nonsense."
Watson split from her Oxford University rugby player beau,
Matthew Janney, in November 2014. Meanwhile, Harry ended things with
Cressida Bonas back in April 2014.
While the Internet heartily approved of the thought of the Harry Potter star and women's rights activist dating a royal, it looks like the report was just too good to be true.
