According to Channelstv, Gunfire shots disrupted the APC rally at Okrika on Tuesday which led to the death of one and left many supporters injured which includes Channels Tv senior correspondent Charles Erukaa. Watch the video.
This has led to both parties in a war of words blaming each other for the violence. Whilst the APC and PDP tackled each other with words as to who masterminded the attack, the police commissioner in the state told channels tv in an exclusive interview that his command will get to the root of the matter. The APC governorship candidate, MR Dakuku Peterside points accusing fingers at a PDP member of the Rivers state house of assembly. However the man accused of masterminding the attack denied the allegation saying his innocence would vindicate him
